New and existing Alltel customers in the market for a simple music phone with some nice added functionality will be interested to learn that Alltel has officially launched the Samsung Muse. The Muse is billed as an ultra-slim music phone and it definitely fits the bill. Dedicated touch-sensitive music keys beneath the outer screen provide playback control while a dedicated music key on the keypad provides immediate player access from any screen within the UI. Beyond the MP3 player capabilities, the Muse also comes with a free trial of 20 satellite radio stations via Alltel’s XM Radio Mobile service. Some spec highlights:

Heavy mobile users need not apply of course, but light users and younger music fans should definitely enjoy the functionality, sleek form factor and low price point.
