In addition to detailing various Android M features over the past few days, Android Police has also spilled the beans on Google’s Nexus plans for 2015. Just as rumored, Google will release two distinct Nexus handset versions this year, which marks the first time Android fans will have two different Nexus phones to choose from at once.

The new LG Nexus smartphone is known internally as LG Angler and is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display and 2,700 mAh battery. The smartphone might ship with a Snapdragon 808 processor inside, just like the G4, though the ARM processor and storage are not decided yet.

“Angler would basically be the 2015 Nexus 5 everyone has been begging for,” the publication says.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Bullhead will be Google’s 2015 Nexus phablet. A 5.7-inch device, the Huawei Nexus handset will have a Snapdragon 810 processor and a 3,500 mAh battery, the report says.

Both phones should be unveiled around October, Android Police adds. As for tablets, Google wants to keep the Nexus 9 around for one more year and a brand-new Nexus tablet isn’t expected for 2015.
