Suicide Squad

is not going to be your typical superhero flick. Sure, it’ll reference Batman and Superman a lot, and maybe even briefly feature one of the two powerful DC Comics vigilantes. But Suicide Squad is about the villains in the DC Comics universe. It’s about the demented evil guys and gals who superheroes spend plenty of time trying to catch and lock behind bars. It’s about really dangerous people who can still be of great help to our planet, and even keep the good guys in check.

In other words, Suicide Squad is one of the most hotly anticipated movies of the summer, and there’s a new international trailer for the film that will hit theaters in early August.

The new trailer recycles some of the footage shown in previous ones and uses some of the amazing tracks that are included in the official soundtrack from the movie. We get to check out some of the bad guys who are about to be unleashed into the world, and we also see the Joker, who might not be included in the first Suicide Squad film — or at least not at the beginning.

Whatever the case, come August 5th we’re going to see Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Katana, Enchantress and many other villains unite for some kind of justice in the DC universe. Check out the new international trailer below.
