Darth Vader returns to Star Wars in brand new Rogue One trailer

Rogue One Trailer Darth Vader

I’ve been waiting for a long time to say this, but Darth Vader is back, baby! The great Star Wars villain we’ve grown to love has been rumored to appear in the first Star Wars spinoff, Rogue One, and all those reports were confirmed a few weeks ago. But we haven’t seen footage of him until now. A brand new trailer for Rogue One came out a few hours ago, revealing the main storyline, some of the characters including a great new droid and Darth Vader.

Vader only makes a brief appearance, right near the end of the following clip, but Rogue One would not be the same without him. After all, the action takes place between Episodes III and IV, when Vader should have been at the height of his power.

The main enforcer of the Emperor, he’s also probably overseeing the creation of the biggest and most important weapon the Empire ever had, you know, the Death Star.

Luke Skywalker and Co. would not be able to destroy the planet-sized spaceship if it were not for the rebels in Rogue One. Their mission – which will probably be successful – is to steal the plans for the Death Star. In their path will lie many perils, Darth Vader being one of them. Check out the new trailer below.

Chris Smith started writing about gadgets as a hobby, and before he knew it he was sharing his views on tech stuff with readers around the world. Whenever he's not writing about gadgets he miserably fails to stay away from them, although he desperately tries. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
