Because Pokemon Go wasn’t already addictive enough on our smartphones, Apple teamed up with Niantic on Wednesday to announce that the most popular mobile game of all time is coming to the Apple Watch as well.

Pokemon Go on the Apple Watch looks like a worthwhile companion for the phone app. As you walk around, your watch will notify you when you pass a PokeStop or a gym, or when a wild Pokemon appears. You can also add a complication to your home screen to show you how far you have to walk to hatch an egg. Those walks will be recorded as workouts, so two birds with one stone.

In addition to the app, Niantic also revealed that the long-awaited Pokemon Go Plus peripheral will be available before the end of the month.

No release date was announced at Apple’s keynote event, but Niantic CEO John Hanke says that Pokemon Go will be available on Apple Watch by year’s end.
