Didn’t get an NES Classic Edition during Best Buy’s December 20th in-store event? Aren’t lucky enough to live in one of the Amazon Prime Now cities that have received new stock over the past week or so? Then you might want to call your local GameStop stores a few times today and tomorrow.

According to a notice obtained by Polygon, GameStop might be the last place to find an NES Classic Edition before the holidays. Here’s the notice, which explains that stock should be in on Wednesday and Thursday, and that the consoles won’t be available at GameStop.com:

GameStop has again received another limited shipment of Nintendo NES Classics today through Thursday. Only available in store, not online. GameStop recommends that customers call their local stores to determine local quantities.

That’s all the information that GameStop was willing to share, so there’s no telling how many NES Classic Edition units will be distributed to any given store in any given city. If you want to find out whether your store has any in stock, you should call ASAP and find out. If they aren’t sure about when (or if) their stock will be replenished, you might just have to start making the rounds and hope for the best.

If you’re still desperate to get your hands on an NES Classic Edition before Christmas or Hanukkah this weekend, GameStop could very well be your last hope. Your only other option is to keep your eye on Amazon’s NES Classic Edition page, where consoles are constantly being made available from different sellers.
