The Ice Age saga has been a huge hit so far, so it seems only natural for 20th Century Fox to make a fifth movie in the series. Called Collision Corse, this fifth episode is about space, with the first official trailer explaining Scrat’s role in the universe.

Just as in the previous four episodes, it’s Scrat’s acorn that causes trouble. This time around, Scrat activates an alien ship buried in ice. One thing leads to another and, before you know it, the ancestor of the squirrel becoms responsible for the movement of the planets in our solar system.

This, obviously, spells trouble for the unusual herd on Earth. Sid, Manny, Diego and gang will now have to avoid a different cataclysmic event, though it’s not quite clear what we’re to expect from this new Ice Age adventure.

Ice Age: Collision Course is set for a July 22nd, 2016, release, featuring a familiar cast. There’s the old crew, including Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Simon Pegg, Jennifer Lopez, but also newcomers, including Adam DeVine, Nick Offerman, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and others. Oh yes, and deGrasse Tyson is playing Neil deBuck Weasel, which should be amusing
