The launch of the first VR headsets has been rife with issues, but on Tuesday, HTC announced that the Vive could finally be purchased directly from the HTC website as well as in select retail locations throughout the country. No more preorders either — HTC says Vive orders will ship within 2-3 business days.

After having to disappoint a number of early adopters by failing to deliver preorders on time, HTC is finally going to make good on all the initial preorders while simultaneously expanding retail sales throughout the United States.

HTC also revealed that public demos for the Vive will be available in 100 retail locations in the US beginning this month. Microsoft will expand demos from 29 to 51 locations, GameStop will grow from 10 to 40 and Micro Center will double the number of stores with demos from 5 to 10.

Here are the links to each retailer’s list of demo-enabled stores:

“Since beginning pre-orders at the end of February and shipping in early April, we’ve seen incredible interest in Vive,” said Dan O’Brien, VP of VR at HTC. “Working with our retail partners has only enhanced that momentum because more people are able to try the only truly immersive virtual reality offering on the market today.”

HTC Vive is available now for $799.
