Is Hillary Clinton trying to win the hearts and minds of Dennis Kucinich voters? Kucinich, the longtime congressman and former presidential candidate, once talked about seeing UFOs while visiting actress Shirley MacLaine’s house. And now Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton is also talking about the existence of aliens and promising an investigation of Area 51, albeit she’s doing so jokingly.
“I think we may have been (visited already). We don’t know for sure,” Clinton answered to a question in an interview late last month with the editorial board of the Conway Daily Sun, according to CNET.
The reporter brought up Clinton’s husband, and how the former President told Jimmy Kimmel in April that he wouldn’t be surprised if aliens had visited us.
The Democratic candidate said that if she’s elected, she would “get to the bottom of it,” adding that her campaign chairman John Podesta is actually very interested in aliens.
“He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out. One way or another,” Clinton told the Sun. “Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51.”
Of course, it’s worth pointing out again that Clinton’s remarks on alien visits on Earth took place in a “playful end to an otherwise serious editorial board meeting,” as CNET puts it. So don’t hold your breath thinking that a prospective Clinton administration would actually share Area 51 secrets with the public.
I can’t help but wonder about The Donald’s stance on Area 51. He takes illegal aliens very seriously, after all.
