Game of Thrones Season 6 Posters

No one is safe in Game of Thrones, and the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s smash hit series is shaping up to be the most unsettling season yet. Why? Because just about all of HBO’s teasers and trailers so far have focused on death, and all of the show’s main characters are seemingly at risk.

In its latest move to stir up some buzz ahead of the new season’s April premiere, HBO released a series of digital posters throughout the day on Wednesday that once again deliver a single message to fans: Death could come for any of the show’s central characters in season 6.

HBO recently released its first full-length trailer for the sixth season of Game of Thrones, and if you haven’t already watched it you should remedy that immediately. The teaser made it beyond apparent that season 6 of the series it going to have an eerie feel to it, and fans of the show immediately began to speculate about the upcoming new episodes.

Forget eerie, HBO’s newly released Game of Thrones season 6 posters are downright haunting.

Using various Twitter accounts, HBO posted a number of posters for the new season and they show many of the central characters, living and dead… or at least, they show part of each character. As you’ll see, the posters depict each character residing in the House of Black and White’s Hall of Faces, where the faces of the dead are kept by followers of the Many-Faced God.

HBO’s new posters can all be seen embedded below, and Game of Thrones season 6 is set to premiere on April 24th.
