We sincerely hope you’re relaxing today and enjoying the Fourth of July holiday. Maybe you’re on a beach somewhere drinking an ice-cold soda or beer, sitting back in your beach chair and soaking in the sun. Or perhaps you’re with friends and family at a barbecue, enjoying good food among good company. We’re glad, because starting tomorrow the focus shifts away from rest, relaxation and our nation’s independence, and back to something far more important: Deals.

That’s right, Amazon’s week-long Prime Day sales event is almost upon us and it’s shaping up to be the biggest shopping event in Amazon’s history. Of course there’s only one way you’ll be able to participate in this massive shopping event, and you’ll learn everything you need to know in this post.

Long story short, the actual “Prime Day” shopping event takes place on Tuesday, July 12. On that day, Amazon will offer more than 100,000 deals across all departments and product categories, and these deals will be available in 10 different countries. That’s a whole lot of bargains, but Amazon is offering plenty of deals long before the 12th arrives as well.

Beginning tomorrow, July 5, Amazon is offering a new set of daily Prime Day deals all week long during the run-up to July 12’s huge Prime Day event. You’re going to find unbeatable new sales each and every day between now and the 12th, and you can keep up on all of the latest deals by following along in our Prime Day 2016 hub.

So what’s the catch? It’s not a “catch” per se, but there is a caveat that applies to each and every one of these great deals: you have to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to take advantage. Prime gives you unlimited free two-day shipping on eligible items on Amazon’s website, and you also get access to things like Amazon Video, Amazon Music, cloud storage and plenty more. The cost? $10.99 per month or $99 per year.

But guess what — if you’re not already an Amazon Prime subscriber and you want to get in on all the action for Prime Day, you can do so without paying a single cent. Simply visit this page on Amazon’s website and you’ll be able to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. When the trial’s over you can cancel and never pay a dime, but we have a feeling you might think twice after taking the service for a test drive.
