Now there are more than 100,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the US and the death toll has climbed into the thousands, not a single person in his or her right mind is taking the outbreak lightly.
If you live in an impacted area, you absolutely must self-isolate and only leave your home if absolutely necessary, like to shop for groceries or to seek medical attention at the advice of your doctor. If you like in an area that hasn’t yet been impacted, at this point it may only be a matter of time. Do yourself a favor and start taking precautions now. Practice social distancing, wash your hands whenever touching surfaces, and stock up on some nonperishables in preparation for self-quarantine if the need arises.
