Today is the last day of Amazon’s Countdown to Black Friday deals week

Amazon’s mid-summer Prime Day event has become the biggest single day of sales for the nation’s top online retailer. Why? Because despite other retailers’ efforts to steal some of the company’s thunder, Prime Day is all about Amazon. Black Friday and Cyber Week are a bit different, of course, since just about every retailer in the entire country gets in on the action. Amazon is still where you’ll find some of the best deals of the holiday shopping season though, and you don’t even have to wait for Black Friday week to arrive.

The holiday sales kicked off early over on Amazon this year, with a huge “Countdown to Black Friday” sales event that began on November 1st. This big sale is only live this week, however, which means today is your last day to get in on the action. Now, it’s important to not that it’s entirely possible Amazon will launch a new pre-Black Friday sale come Monday.
