Several newly uncovered trademark filings could indicate possible names for HP’s upcoming webOS tablets. The trademark filings, which were revealed today, include “HP Duopad,” “HP Touchcanvas” and “HP Touchslate.” Earlier trademarks suggest that one of HP’s tablets could also be named “HP Touchpad.” HP is holding a press event early next month where it is expected to unveil multiple new tablet devices. An upcoming tablet codenamed Topaz is expected to be among HP’s announcements at the event, and if the company decides to use any of these newly-trademarked monikers, the worst thing about this sleek new webOS tablet could very well be its name.
