Pokemon Go might not be anywhere near as popular as it was shortly after it launched, but you wouldn’t know it from all the buzz surrounding the game this week. Niantic finally released Pokemon Gen 2 this week, offering players a much-needed update that includes a number of new characters. That’s right, Pokemon Go fans, there are now a whole bunch of new Pokemon to catch in your favorite app. There are also some other new features beyond the additional characters in the game though, and the most eagerly anticipated among them is the return of the nearby tracker that shows you when there are Pokemon around you waiting to be caught. The only problem is that Niantic’s new Pokemon tracker is, well, pretty awful. Don’t worry though, because we found a new Pokemon Go tracker app that’s much better than the integrated solution, and it’s a free download for the iPhone.

Fans of the popular Pokemon hunting game were excited to learn that the ultimate Pokemon Go hack still works flawlessly in the new version of the game, but not everyone is comfortable with cheating. There are still some tools available that can give you an edge without cheating though, and PokeTracker for Pokemon Go is one of them. This slick app features an interactive map that shows you nearby Pokemon. More importantly, it supports background notifications to tell you when new Pokemon spawn nearby!

The app’s full description follows below and if you’re a Pokemon Go fan, you should definitely download it.

Finally, a way to see exactly where Pokémon are hiding in Pokémon Go! Complete with filters and background notifications.

FEATURES:
– Interactive map showing precise Pokemon locations
– View the locations of Gyms and PokeStops including controlling team and lures.
