Video: ‘Walking Dead’ Season 6 Behind The Scenes Gives Us a Taste of Things to Come

Fans of AMC’s smash hit series The Walking Dead should prepare themselves for a “huge, huge episode” to kick off the upcoming sixth season of the popular zombie show, which is set to premiere in the coming months. In a new video posted to the AMC YouTube channel, one of the show’s stars gives the world an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming season, and there may be some hints that show us what to expect.

The Walking Dead can be counted among a number of wildly popular shows from the newly reborn AMC network, which has reinvented itself as a premiere channel for high-quality TV shows. With the filming of the hotly anticipated season 6 now underway, AMC has begun to tease the new season.

In this behind-the-scenes video, one of the show’s stars takes us on a two-minute and forty-five second tour of some of the sets being used in the next season. Michael Cudlitz, who plays Sergeant Abraham Ford on the show, also talks to several other cast members about what they expect to happen in the coming season.

While specifics are scarce, there are plenty of hints that tease what we can expect this season. Ford also says that the premiere episode is going to be “huge,” so expectations are now even higher for an action-packed debut.

The Walking Dead season 6 is expected to premiere sometime in October. In the meantime, AMC’s new behind-the-scenes video is embedded below.
