By the time halftime rolled around at the Super Bowl on Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons appeared to have the game well in hand. Up 21-3, Matt Ryan and company were poised to embarrass the New England Patriots, but against all odds, Tom Brady found a way to mount the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history in the second half. Maybe Lady Gaga’s spectacular halftime show had something to do with it?

Alright, so I’m not actually suggesting that Gaga’s tunes had anything to do with the Patriots’ renewed confidence, but it was nonetheless a visually stunning halftime show. Along with performing a medley of some of her most famous songs — “Poker Face,” “Just Dance,” “Bad Romance,” “Million Reasons” — she also had an army of drones flying around the stadium to bookend the performance:

While she didn’t use the opportunity to make any overt political statements, as many of her fans (and detractors) might have expected, her songs mostly speak for themselves. In fact, she appeared to highlight verses from some of her songs — such as “Born This Way” — that specifically refer to the LGBTQ community.

Also worth noting: she appeared to be singing live throughout the performance. Considering that she was something of a musical prodigy from a young age, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Whether you’re a fan of her music or not, if you somehow missed the halftime show on Sunday night, it’s worth a watch. Take thirteen minutes out of your day and watch Gaga jump off of things in the video above.
