After a disappointing slate in November, Netflix has gotten back on track with a solid selection of additions to close out 2016. Although nothing on the list of original titles stands out, there are plenty of popular licensed movies coming to the streaming service in December, some of which we hope to be able to download using the new offline viewing feature Netflix introduced this week.

By the way, if you want to know how to download movies in HD for offline viewing on Netflix, be sure to check out our guide on the subject from Wednesday.

DON’T MISS: The best Netflix shows you can now download

As I noted above, there are fewer original shows and movies in my top ten list than usual this month, but both White Rabbit Project (from the MythBusters build team) and Barry (a biopic about President Obama) look promising. Plus, Captain America: Civil War is coming just in time for Christmas.

  • Beverly Hills Cop (December 1st)
  • Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (December 1st)
  • National Lampoon’s Animal House (December 1st)
  • The Little Rascals (December 1st)
  • The Rock (December 1st)
  • White Rabbit Project: Season 1 (December 9th)
  • Barry (December 16th)
  • Miss Stevens (December 19th)
  • Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War (December 25th)
  • Ajin: Season 2 (December 27th)

Now that you’ve seen the best, be sure to take a look at the rest — here’s the full list of everything that will be added to Netflix’s catalog this month. And here’s the full list of everything that will be removed from Netflix in December.

Check back next month for another list of great shows and movies.
