We all know that Black Friday is actually a month-long sales event these days, but the real action starts on the Monday preceding Black Friday. And the real real action starts on Thanksgiving, which just so happens to be today. If you plan on doing some bargain hunting this year, you have a whole lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving this year and it all begins right now, because Best Buy has ended its pre-Black Friday sale and officially kicked off its big Black Friday 2016 sale.

If you plan on visiting a Best Buy store today, you’ll have to wait until 5:00 PM local time to start shopping — though you’ll probably have to wait in line for at least an hour or two before then if you have any hope of getting in on the best bargains. Of course, you could just be smart about it and shop almost all of the same deals online, right now, from the comfort of your own home.
