One of the great things about the recent advancements in technology is that it lets filmmakers come up with better and better movies. Disney’s brand new Beauty and the Beast doesn’t tell a new story. It’s not even a sequel. It’s still the one some of us grew up with. But Disney put to great use technology to come up with a live-action Beauty and the Beast that will look so much better than the animation. And the first trailer for the movie is finally available. Finally!

Yes, I’m very excited about this particular story and the way Disney chose to tell it. We’ve got an amazing cast here, with Emma Watson playing Belle. Dan Stevens is the Beast — well, the live-action version. Kevin Kline will play Maurice and Luke Evans is Gaston.

Before you ask, yes, all the servants are turned into objects, just like in the animation. And they look better than they ever did.

Disney teased its live-action Beauty and the Beast with short clips and images from the movie, but we’re finally ready to see a full two-minute trailer for the upcoming hit.

Beauty and the Beast hits cinemas on March 17th, and it’ll be just one of the animation-based live-action movies that Disney plans to release in coming years. Check out the trailer below.
