Whatever plans you made this weekend, you might want to consider cancelling them. On Thursday, Noodlecake Studios (best known for their Super Stickman Golf series) launched the sequel to Flappy Golf. If you don’t remember Flappy Golf, or somehow never heard of it to begin with, it started as a parody of Flappy Bird, but ended up being one of the most delightful surprises of 2014. Now, a year later, we have a sequel, and it’s just as great as its predecessor.
Flappy Golf shares a lot in common with Super Stickman Golf. Your goal is still to get the ball into the hole in as few moves as possible, but rather than swinging at the ball, this time the ball has wings. Every tap counts as a flap, and the less flaps you have to expend to get to the hole, the better your score will be.
Another commonality between the two games is that Flappy Golf 2 uses the same courses as Super Stickman Golf 3 (which hit the App Store and Google Play earlier this year). You start in the same position and have to navigate through the same obstacles. The only difference: flapping instead of swinging.
Other than the flapping, the biggest difference between the two games is that Stickman Golf is a premium game whereas Flappy Golf 2 is free to download. So there’s literally no risk to downloading it and trying it for yourself. I’ve included the links to the app on the App Store and Google Play below:
