A few hours ago, Niantic announced that a new Pokemon Go update for iPhone and Android is about to be released, so go get your devices in order. Versions 1.9.0 for iPhone and 0.39.0 for Android are about to come out, bringing several new features and bug fixes.

DON’T MISS: This tool could save you a bunch of money on an iPhone 7 purchase

Before you get too excited about the incoming update, you should know that the trading feature isn’t included in this one, at least according to the notes Niantic posted on Facebook.

Instead, you can expect Pokemon capture information to appear on the info screen. Furthermore, your Pokemon Go Plus can be used to capture Pokemon with Incense following the update, a feature some trainers will certainly appreciate. Here’s the tiny changelog that Niantic posted on Facebook:

  • Capture location: The location where a Pokémon was caught will now be displayed on their information screen.
  • Pokémon GO Plus and Incense: Trainers can attempt to capture Pokémon they encounter from using Incense with the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
  • Minor bug fixes

The company also hinted that “some exciting features and changes” are coming soon, without detailing any of them.

Head over to the Apple Store or Google Play to download Pokemon Go. The update should be applied automatically, depending on how you set your phone, once it propagates through the stores.
