Remember when Samsung made fun of the iPhone 7’s lack of a headphone jack during its Galaxy Note 7 event without actually naming the unreleased iPhone? The Korean giant laughed off the rumored change, saying that its newest phablet will still ship with a regular 3.5mm audio port. The audience burst into laughter, since everyone there knew that Samsung was already taking hits at an Apple product. One that wasn’t even official.

Lenovo is next to follow that trend, though the Chinese company isn’t laughing at Apple. Instead, Lenovo is already comparing the specs of the iPhone 7 Plus against the Galaxy Note 7 and the Moto Z and Z Play even though Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus is still not official. Does Lenovo know something we don’t?

DON’T MISS: All the reasons Apple’s ‘boring’ new iPhone 7 will be its most exciting iPhone ever

As you can see in the image below, posted on Weibo, Lenovo compared the hardware of its Moto Z and Moto Z Play to the Galaxy Note 7 and iPhone 7 Plus during a launch event in China.

The message is supposed to be pretty clear: The Moto Z family is better than Apple and Samsung’s latest devices — even if Apple’s latest device doesn’t actually exist yet.

According to the slide above, the iPhone 7 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch display, 256GB of storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. TechTastic says that other iPhone 7 Plus specs listed in the table include a camera with 4x digital zoom, a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) and mono speakers.

Unless the company has some inside info, it’s very likely Lenovo got its information from the numerous iPhone 7 leaks circulating online. But the company’s decision to jump the gun here just reinforces the notion that rivals are already bracing themselves for Apple’s next-generation iPhones.

Apple will unveil the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus during a special event on September 7th, at which point we’ll see how accurate Lenovo’s information is.
