Over the past few weeks, Niantic has made Pokemon Go a significantly more stable game. At launch, the game would freeze and crash constantly, and even when the app did work, there was a good chance the servers would be offline.

Thankfully, many of those problem have been resolved through updates, but like any online game, Pokemon Go is going to continue to run into occasional speed bumps going forward. That’s why it might not be a bad idea to know the status of the server at all times if you plan to play regularly.

DON’T MISS: Hot new app helps you find all the Pokemon hiding in your area

Now, you could navigate to your browser or log in to Twitter to check one of the countless server status sites/accounts, but it might be easier to simply download Poke Server Status Check — an app which is now free to download on iOS.

Once you open the app, you’ll be able to see how long the Pokemon Go servers have been online, how long the Pokemon Trainer Club has been online and how Pokemon Go has been holding up over the last hour.

It’s an exceptionally simplistic app, but if your Pokemon Go app won’t load and you want to find out whether or not it’s on your end or Niantic’s end, this might be the quickest and easiest way to check from your iPhone.

You can download Poke Server Status Check now for free.
