We’ve been educated to expect after the credits scenes in all sorts of movies, but especially superhero films. If you’re a Marvel universe fan, then you know better than to leave the theater once the credits start rolling. Some of the good stuff – teasers at what’s to come in upcoming pictures – will happen during and/or after the credits in Marvel movies. Very rarely, trailers will get a similar treatment. And by very rarely we mean almost never. It probably only happens if Deadpool is involved.

DON’T MISS: Leaked iPhone 7 photos point to intriguing new camera design

Also, it probably only happens for Marvel titles. So how did the merc with a mouth hijack the Japanese trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse? Well, he was simply looking for a plug for his own movie, which launched only a few weeks ago in the country, or much later than anywhere else in the world.

Even so, Deadpool was very keen on telling fans that his movie was just around the corner, and he did so brilliantly: He’ put a brilliant a spin on the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, sharing Five Things You May Have Missed In the X-Men Trailer with the audience. He also explained why he chose to appear out of the blue after a trailer, rather than after a movie.

Both Deadpool and the latest installment of X-Men have already hit theaters in most markets, with the former being available on DVD in many western countries. Deadpool is also the most successful of the two, and I sure can’t wait for Deadpool 2. Oh, and if you haven’t seen the first one yet, make sure you don’t stop the playback once the credits start rolling.
