Ant-Man is starstruck meeting Captain America in a new clip from ‘Civil War’

With less than a month to go before the release of Captain America: Civil War, the Disney marketing machine has been kicked into high gear. The cast of the movie has been making the rounds on the late night talk show circuit, a new trailer was shown off at the MTV Movie Awards and now we have another clip to pore over.

On Monday night, Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Paul Rudd all appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the highly anticipated sequel. Between questions, Kimmel debuted two short clips from the movie that had never been seen before, the first of which you can see at the beginning of this video:

If you’ve seen Ant-Man, you know that Paul Rudd’s character has already met the Falcon, but it appears this clip is the first time he’s ever had a chance to meet The First Avenger, Captain America. He’s appropriately starstruck.

But that wasn’t all Kimmel had to share. When sitting down to speak with Chris Evans before the rest of the crew came on stage, the audience was shown the following 30-second clip from a fight scene in Civil War:

Between the marketing campaigns for The Force Awakens and Civil War, it’s clear that Disney has as good a grasp on how to market a popular franchise as any studio on the planet. Now we just have to hope the early reviews were right.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6th.
