We have less than a month to wait before we finally get to see the Avengers movie we’ve all been waiting. Captain America: Civil War is Marvel’s version of Batman v Superman for this year. The latter didn’t impress critics but made a boatload of cash at the box office regardless of negative reviews. Considering that the third Captain America installment has already been praised in early reviews, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming Avengers flick.

In addition to screening an exclusive Suicide Squad trailer, last night’s MTV Movie Awards also released a brand new Civil War trailer to keep us entertained while we wait for the movie’s hotly anticipated release.

The clip is just over a minute long, but that’s plenty of time to see one of the two superhero teams get down to business. Specifically, it’s the Captain joined by Falcon and Scarlet Witch assaulting what looks like a government building – at least, it’s heavily defended by men in uniforms.

Crossbones, a new villain who’s introduced in Civil War, also makes a brief appearance.

In case you don’t know what the movie is about, the central plot line is that Captain America and Iron Man go to war. Each one is joined by several of their superhero friends. The discord? The government wants to regulate superhero activity by forcing humans with special abilities to register, but Stark and Captain Rogers take opposite sides of the argument.
