A couple of iPhone 7 leaks hit the Internet over the weekend that showed the purported new design of the handset as well as a dual rear camera module that could come with the device. Dug up by French tech site NowhereElse, the image shows a camera module made up of two camera sensors. 9to5Mac further discovered that the image quietly emerged in early January, and there isn’t enough proof to link the part with the upcoming iPhone 7, regardless of what recent rumors have claimed.

Recent rumors have claimed that the iPhone 7 will get a dual camera system and iPhone camera supplier Sony recently confirmed that unnamed smartphone makers will equip their devices with such sensors this year.

Rumors have also claimed that a special iPhone 7 Plus version will have a dual camera on the back, rather than all 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. This device will supposedly be called the iPhone Pro, according to other reports.
