Black Friday shopping starts tomorrow but even if you don’t feel like dealing with the massive crowds at your local mall, there’s still a way you can get Black Friday prices if you’re smart. In a WiseBread article about how to score Black Friday deals without even leaving your home, Kyle James explains how you can use eBay to get Black Friday prices on products days after Black Friday has ended.
How does this work? As James explains, there are lots of amateur entrepreneurs out there who line up outside retail outlets earlier than everyone else to take advantage of their “doorbuster” deals that are even better than the usual Black Friday deals. What they typically do is scoop up as many of these doorbuster deals as they can hold and then sell them at slightly higher prices on eBay.
“Because eBay gets inundated with Black Friday products, supply and demand takes over and you stand a great chance of scoring a deal close to the doorbuster price,” he writes. “I did this last year with an external hard drive that was regularly $79.99. It had a $39.99 Black Friday price, and I snatched it up on eBay for only $49. Still a great deal, and I didn’t have to fight the crowds.”
For this trick to work, you’ll have to know what different stores are offering for their doorbuster sales. Luckily for your, we’ve tracked down some links to doorbuster deals at some of America’s top retailers. In no particular order, here are the doorbuster deal lists for:
Take a look at what products are on sale and if you see anything you like, be sure to search for it on eBay in the days following Black Friday and you might get a killer bargain.
