Whether you’re shopping for a new backpack for school, or you’re looking to find the perfect bag to use as a carry-on item on your frequent flights, chances are you’re already looking at your next small luggage purchase from a tech angle. Will the laptop and tablet both fit securely into it? What about the external batteries and Bluetooth speaker you’re lugging around with you most of the time? Well, your search might end here, as the iBackPack in the image above could prove to be the ultimate tech-friendly backpack you need.
The bag, which is TSA-friendly, can comfortably house both a laptop and a tablet – in case you use both – as well as plenty of accessories and other items you might need at school or work.
The iBackPack comes with 4 USB ports that can be used for charging various gadgets, a GPS system that helps you locate it, Bluetooth proximity sensor, a Wi-Fi router that turns the backpack into your own portable Internet mobile hotspot, and two 8,000 mAh batteries that can be used to recharge your smartphone and tablet.
On top of that, the laptop has a Bluetooth sound system and a retractable power cord and wall charger that can be used to charge either the internal batteries or the laptop stored in the bag.
The cheapest iBackPack costs $149, but doesn’t include the Wi-Fi hotspot, and should ship next March. Check out the video below for more details about the iBackPack and head on to Indiegogo to find out more details about it.
