One of the most highly anticipated handsets of the year is the OnePlus 2, a device that’s expected to offer a high-end smartphone experience for a bargain price, just like its predecessor. A number of leaks have likely already revealed plenty of information on the design and specs of the upcoming handset. But now, new information found on the official Bluetooth certification site and in a recent benchmark test give us even more details about the unreleased phone.

According to Bluetooth SIG listings, the company might sell three distinct versions of the OnePlus 2 later this year, although it’s not clear yet whether there will be significant differences between them.

The certification body listed the A2001, A2003 and A2005, with the last model having been spotted in previously leaked benchmarks.

Meanwhile, a new GFXBench listing says the A2003 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and a massive 4GB of RAM memory, something many 2015 flagship Android handsets can’t offer.

One final piece of the OnePlus 2 puzzle came from OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, who hinted on Weibo that the new handset might have a metal body – this particular clue might explain why OnePlus would have three distinct OnePlus 2 versions certified at the Bluetooth SIG.

The company will unveil its second OnePlus phone later this month during a VR media event, but we expect more leaks to reveal new details about it long before it finally is made official.
