You may have thought it was an Internet hoax, but alas, the Will Ferrell and Kristin Wigg Lifetime movie is very, very real. Earlier today, Lifetime released a trailer for the upcoming made-for-TV movie, a production sensationally titled, A Deadly Adoption.

The plot, in classic Lifetime fashion, is based on a true story and centers on a couple (Ferrell and Wigg) who tend to a pregnant woman in the final months of her pregnancy so that they can adopt her unborn child. Lifetime is touting the movie as a “high-stakes dramatic thriller,” not to be confused with any of the low stakes thrillers out there.

In any event, the mind boggling trailer can be viewed below.

If you’re intrigued, the film premieres on Saturday, June 20 at 8 PM Eastern Time.
