With the Apple Watch, it’s never been easier to order products online. Not only does Apple’s new wearable support Apple Pay, but Amazon, not surprisingly, already released an Apple Watch app with one-click purchasing functionality that we just had a feeling would be too dangerous for its own good.
In a bit of “it’s hilarious as long as it doesn’t happen to you” videography, a CNET reviewer was in the midst of showing off how easy it is to purchase goods and services via the Apple Watch.
In the process of demonstrating how voice-activated search operates within the Amazon watch app, he accidentally makes a wrong press and winds up ordering an Xbox One Assassin’s Creed bundle. Nothing like an accidental $349 purchase to put you in a good mood, after all.
The fun starts at about 1:20 into the video.
