Go buy the Nexus 6 at Motorola’s website right now

Act very fast — the Nexus 6 is available to buy right now at Motorola’s website. And we really do mean act now — within the last minute, we found at least one copy of the Nexus 6 available but we have no idea how long that will last. And unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that Motorola’s website is listing shipping dates, so we literally have no idea when the Nexus 6 will arrive once you place your order.

The reason that we’re telling you to jump at this opportunity to buy the Nexus 6 from Motorola is that for each of the past two weeks, Google has offered an extremely limited supply of Nexus 6 devices on the Google Play Store, which have promptly sold out in literally seconds. Google will refresh its supplies every Wednesday but, again, it looks like people are scooping the tiny number of devices up with reckless abandon.

We have no doubt that releasing the device in such limited quantities in the early going is a (very annoying) marketing strategy aimed at juicing up demand and excitement before the device goes on sale with all of its carrier partners this month.

Right now, you can get a Nexus 6 in either Midnight Blue or Cloud White and either a 32GB or 64GB model from the Motorola site. Hopefully, supplies will last long enough for you to pick one up this time.
