You can be sure that Samsung’s marketing team is looking at all the photos and videos of bent iPhone 6 Pluses and is cracking its knuckles… presuming, of course, that the Galaxy Note 4 doesn’t suffer from similar problems. All the same, it seems some Samsung fans have already gotten off to a head start and have created a Samsung-esque iPhone 6 Plus “Bend-gazi” parody that you might very well mistake for an actual Samsung ad.

We’ve reached out to a Samsung spokesperson who said he wasn’t aware of anyone at Samsung’s marketing team making this ad. He also pointed out that, while the mock ad is indeed funny, Samsung would be more likely to use this sort of promotion for the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 and not a phone that released more than a year ago.

Unbox Therapy’s “bend test” of the Galaxy Note 3 showed that while the device could indeed be bent like the iPhone 6 Plus, the device also bent back to its original shape while the 6 Plus maintained its bent appearance. Presuming the Galaxy Note 4 shows a similar talent for snapping back into shape, we can’t imagine Samsung will not exploit “Bendgate” in future ads when the Note 4 comes out over the next few weeks.
