The closer Microsoft gets to unveiling Windows 9 and releasing its first Technical Preview of its next major desktop OS update, the more leaks revealing Windows 9 features hit the web. After posting videos showing how the new Start menu button is supposed to work, and detailing new features including the Notification Center and multiple desktop support, German publication WinFuture is back with screenshots showing the Cortana voice-based personal assistant in action for Windows 9.

Previous reports have already revealed that Cortana will not be a Windows Phone feature only, as Microsoft has plans to bring it to its flagship PC software as well.

WinFuture says that Cortana for Windows 9 will offer support for reminders, including location, time and people information, and that it is also likely to be included in the default Bing search application. The virtual assistant will probably be able to respond to various questions, just like the Windows Phone version, although a video demo of it isn’t available yet.

Microsoft is expected to announce Windows 9 on September 30th and release the first Windows 9 Technical Preview thereafter.
