Apple’s annual Back to School promotion has returned for the 2014 school season. As always, students who buy a new Mac, iPad or iPhone will receive a free Apple Store gift card with their purchase. Buying any Mac other than a Mac Mini will net students a $100 gift card while the purchase of an iPad or an iPhone includes a $50 gift card. College students, parents and faculty who qualify for education pricing will receive an additional discount from Apple as well.

In order to take advantage of this promotion, make sure you pick up your new Mac or iOS device at either a brick-and-mortar Apple Retail Store or at the Apple Online Store for Education. The offer will be available from July 1st to September 9th in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Although it might be a bit of a stretch, the length of the promotion might be some indication as to when the iPhone 6 is launching. Maybe September 19th isn’t just speculation after all.

The following devices are all eligible for the Back to School promotion:

  • Qualifying Apple Computers: iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Pro.
  • Qualifying iPhone: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 5s.
  • Qualifying iPad: iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display, iPad with Retina display (current generation), and iPad mini.
