You know what they say about guys with big smartphones? OK, they don’t really say anything about them but Samsung is nonetheless trying to convince you that bigger is better in its latest ad for the Galaxy Note 3 that makes fun of the iPhone 5s’s 4-inch display, which it says is positively wimpy compared with the Note 3’s massive 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full HD display.

“5.7 inches of HD? Boo-yah!” the ad exclaims before trashing the iPhone’s measly “4 inches of non-HD.”

Although Apple has traditionally prided itself in building smartphones that fit comfortably into most people’s hands, it’s come under pressure from investors to build phones with larger displays that can go head-to-head with the massive phablets being unleashed by Samsung. Apple will reportedly release two new iPhone models later this year that have bigger displays, including a 4.5-inch model and a 5-inch model. Whether these models will be enough to satisfy people who crave “5.7 inches of HD” is anyone’s guess, however.
