If you’re going to build a voice-enabled platform designed for wearable computers, you could do a whole lot worse than to hire Apple’s former Siri boss Luc Julia. MacWorld reports Julia is overseeing the development of Samsung’s new SAMI platform that will collect and share data across multiple electronic devices, including wearable computers such as smartwatches. Essentially, SAMI is a platform that will let all your devices share data with one another, from your smartphone to your smartwatch to your web-connected household appliance. MacWorld says that a big goal of SAMI will be to “collect and store data from any device in its original format” that Samsung will then “normalize” and “make it available as a feed… that can be consumed by other applications.”
