Microsoft is not messing around anymore when it comes to enforcing patent judgements against Google and Motorola. Bloomberg reports that Microsoft filed a lawsuit against United States Customs officials on Friday that accused them of “refusing to follow a trade agency’s order to block imports of phones made by Google’s Motorola Mobility unit.” The International Trade Commission first issued the ban against 18 Motorola smartphones and tablets more than a year ago but Microsoft alleges that U.S. Customs officials kept letting the devices into the country after having “secret discussions” with Google. Microsoft also claims Customs officials have “repeatedly allowed Motorola to evade that order based on secret presentations” that the officials have “refused to share with Microsoft.”
