Earlier reports have suggested that Motorola is prepping three new Droid-branded smartphones that will debut on Verizon’s network later this year. We have seen images of both the Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx, and on Wednesday @evleaks posted a purported press image of the smaller Droid next to its larger counterparts. Specs remain a mystery for the Droid mini, however the latest rumors claim the Droid Ultra will be equipped with a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 10-megapixel camera. The Droid Maxx is expected to be slightly thicker and include a larger battery, similar to the Droid RAZR Maxx. A leaked commercial story board obtained by Android Central suggests Motorola will launch its latest Droid smartphones on August 8th. The leaked image follows below.
