LG Spectrum gets official for Verizon, launching January 19th for $199

It’s been leaked seven ways to Sunday, but the LG Spectrum was just made official at LG’s press event at CES just moments ago. Verizon Wireless will be selling the 4G LTE smartphone on January 19th for $199. As far as specifications, the Spectrum will run Android 2.3 (no, we’re not joking, though Verizon says it’s upgradable to Android 4.0), features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch true HD IPS display (no PenTile, here), an 8 megapixel pixel camera with 1080p HD video capability around back, and a 1830mAh battery.
