Ever since Epic Games first demonstrated a work in progress codenamed “Project Sword” at an Apple press event, gamers around the world have been eagerly awaiting its release. It took several months, but the stunning Unreal Engine 3-based game is finally available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Under the release name Infinity Blade, Epic’s new title is one of the most visually stunning games that has ever been produced for the iOS platform. The RPG is set in medieval times, and the protagonist must journey through the “God King’s” land battling “titans” in an effort to free his people from “an endless legacy of darkness.” Hit the jump for a video trailer and an iTunes link.
