Ahhh, how about a price drop? That’s right people, a mere eight days since the Omnia became available online and through telesales and Verizon is already dropping the price to a cool $199 after $70 mail-in rebate. The new price is down from $249 after the same rebate. Talk about a killer early adopter tax – the Omnia won’t even hit many stores until next week and we already have a 20% price drop! Those of you who purchased the handset already can still be happy knowing that you were one of the first people to have Verizon’s sleek 5 megapixel smartphone, despite the fact you fell victim to a solid gouging. Hey, it happens to the best of us from time to time.
