In a press event earlier today, Samsung officially unveiled their newest Windows Mobile smartphone. The SGH-i900 is a beast of a handset, sporting single-band HSDPA/UMTS, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 b/g, GPS, and an onboard FM radio. That’s about all the connectivity you could reasonably expect to be crammed into device this size. It also sports a 5 megapixel camera, bringing it up to par with the current high-end offerings from Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Samsung indicated that the SGH-i900 will run Windows Mobile 6.1, with a gorgeous 240×400 screen. More importantly, perhaps, is that this baby will also be sporting 8 GB of internal memory. Not bad at all. No indication of when it might drop, and don’t expect to see this on our side of the water, but a little gadget lust never hurt anyone, right?
