This should come as no real surprise, but it looks like Myspace has been hard at work on a native application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The company is reportedly well into the development phase of a new version of their social networking site, purposely built for Apple’s portables. Reading between the lines, it’s clear that Myspace was one of a chosen few granted access to an early build of the iPhone SDK. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing an official launch concurrent with Apple’s upcoming announcement a little later, but let’s hope that they’re far enough along so as to ensure a timely release. Any guesses as to who else might have gotten their hands on the pre-release SDK? Such little time ’till we find out!
