Here’s one for you environmentally conscious freaks out there. Virgin Atlantic Airlines is getting ready to test a new biofuel-equipped Boein 747. The aircraft will fly from London to Amsterdam at the end of this month using a new fuel blend consisting of 80% regular fuel and 20% biofuel. There will be no passengers on board the initial test flight, but if all goes well, we might see this trickle down into actual use.
