Yeah, there’s luxury, and then there’s luxury. This item falls firmly into the latter category. Constructed by Danish company Lantic Systems, the Gold RC1 remote control is quite the savage beast. It allows you to control a wide array of different devices, including a TV, DVD Player, CD Player, CCTV system, alarm system, lights, curtains, air conditioning, and pretty much anything else with an IR receiver. Not bad, right? Well sure, but when the damn thing costs $30,000 not including tax, it starts to sounds a little bit less appealing. It is, of course, made from pure gold, but again, if you’re not a Saudi Sheik we’re not sure if the price is quite worth it. But if you absolutely must have the hottest remote on the block, consider yourself fairly warned.
