Apple, fresh on the heels of the recent Leopard release, might be dropping an update to their iTunes media player software. iTunes 7.5 is rumored to be released sometime within the next week. The update will provide a number of low-level fixes, so don’t expect a ton of new functionality here. The software promises to improve stability and make dealing with duplicate files a bit easier, as well as streamlining the iTunes to iTunes Plus upgrade path. It should also include support for the upcoming European iPhone releases. Nothing crazy, but bug fixes and enhanced stability are never bad, right? Keep em coming, Apple.
