Mac Mini gets EOL’d

Doubtful that the Mac Mini is close to getting replaced? Take a look at this…Apple Insider, the Cal Ripken of Apple tip sites, is reporting that the Mac Mini has received its marching orders, getting close to an official End of Life designation from the boys in Cupertino. Shipments have slowed down significantly, and Apple is apparently telling some of its 3rd party retailers that they shouldn’t expect any new shipments of the headless Mac. Could this mean that a “Mac Nano” is on its way? Its certainly possible. On the other hand, it makes sense for Apple to slow down shipments of systems with Tiger pre-installed in anticipation of having to ship the new Leopard machines in short order. We suppose time will tell…
